The Danbury Brass Band will perform their Springtime Concert on Sunday April Twenty fourth at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Eighteen Clapboard Ridge Rd, Danbury.
This concert will include works by Gabrieli, Richrd Rodgers, Gliere, Dizzy Gillespie, Stvie Wonder, Frank Zappa. Lennon & McCartney and Lin-Manuel Miranda. Also, Aaron Plude will play movements two and three of the Gliere horn concerto plus a world premiere of a piece by Thomas Caprino, will feature soloists Jerome Burns and Aaron Plude.
The Danbury Brass Band is conducted by Alan Raph, is currently in its Thirty ninth year, and has performed extensively in the tri-state area as well as making multiple visits to Australia, Bermuda, New Zealand and Ireland.
