The Mad Hatters May 13 Richter Art Center
The Richter Association for the Arts next recital is May 13 at Richter Park. The Mad Hatters are a 30-man a-capella chorus, singing songs in the barbershop and other styles. Cultural Commission Poetry Contest May
The Danbury Cultural Commission is proud to acknowledge Poetry month by sponsoring the 47th Annual poetry contest for high school students in Danbury. This year close to a hundred students submitted their poems. The Four winners and four honorable mention awards have been announced and their awards will be presented on May 10th at WCSU. Accompanying the awards, each winning author will read their winning poem.

Celebration of Danbury Arts May 19
The Students of the entire Danbury School System are gearing up for the ninth annual Coda Arts/Music festival. The festival honors the visual, and performance art, of students in fine and applied arts programs in Danbury public schools kindergarten through 12th grade. The Celebration of Danbury Arts this year will be held at Broadview Middle school May 19, 2018.
