Staged on the grounds of the Richter Arts Center, 100 Aunt Hack Road in Danbury, performances take place outdoors under the stars Friday through Sunday evenings, with additional specially discounted performances on Thursdays August First and Eighth.

The Danbury Parks and Recreation Department, with the Danbury Library, and Danbury Police Athletic League (PAL) brings back Free Movie Nights at Candlewood Lake taking place on Tuesdays in July! Bring a chair, a blanket and a picnic basket! The third presentation will be July sixteenth with Trolls Band Together. The fourth and final movie this summer is How to Train your Dragon July Twenty third.The screen is set up on the main lawn of the Candlewood Town Park and as soon as the sun sets the movie begins. Be there for this wonderful outdoor experience for the whole family.

The event is upstairs in the Music Centre's Marian Anderson Recital Hall at 256 Main Street Danbury, Connecticut. Parking is available in the Bardo Garage directly behind and adjacent to the building. The garage and the Music Centre are handicapped accessible.
Connecticut Ballet Dancing under the stars July 29 at Richter Park
The Connecticut Ballet, a well known and loved provider of Danbury's in-school introduction to Professional Ballet, is returning to Danbury with their: Ballet Under the Stars. They are on their Statewide tour, bring professional ballet to five Connecticut Cities.
This is your opportunity to experience the ballet right here in Danbury. The program is comprised of classical ballet, contemporary ballet, and a revival of the popular jazz ballet. Danbury elementary school students have raved about these dancers for years at school assemblies, and you will too. All programs are free and suitable for all ages.

Saint James’s Carillon July series, Wednesdays at 1:00 through July 31
In Danbury this July is the Saint James’ Carillon music series. This annual series offers the opportunity to listen on Wednesdays in July, to the The First American built Carillon, from the courtyard of Saint James or the Plaza of the Library or most of Downtown Danbury. All concerts are free, start at One o'clock and last about a half an hour. The third performance on July Seventeen is Austin Ferguson, Carillonneur at Mayo Clinic Rochester, Minnesota. Next on July Twenty fourth is John Wildman Carillonneur at the Joseph Dill Baker Memorial Carillon, Frederick Virginia.
