Danbury Concert Association first concert September 22

 The Danbury Concert Association, will kick off its Twenty twenty four, twenty five series of four concerts on Sunday, September Twenty second at three p m, when pianist Cecile Licad returns to the Visual and Performing Arts Center on the Western Connecticut State University campus.

Series subscriptions are now on sale, at Eighty dollars per adult. 

 

Single tickets to any of the four concerts will be available at Twenty five dollars each. 


Admission is free for ages Eighteen and under, courtesy of the Danbury Cultural Commission

All performances take place at the Visual and Performing Arts Center on the west side campus of WCSU. The series will continue with pianist Andrew Armstrong and violinist Abigél Králik in October; soprano Kathryn Lewek and tenor Zach Borichevsky in March; and the Essex Septet in June.

What is the Danbury Cultural Commission

The Danbury Cultural Commission is the citizen's voice for supporting cultural, heritage and artistic events in Danbury. They support and help fund performing arts programs for Danbury residents free of charge. The eleven-member Commission continues to support the development of new arts programs and supports and funds local arts, cultural and ethnic activities, as it has for 57 years. The Commission also encourages, promotes and co-sponsors events which benefit and improve the quality of life for Danbury residents. For updates, follow us on Instagram. City Center Danbury Summer Concerts on the Green Apolo’s Band August 30

 The Summer Concert Series on the Ives Street Green continues with Apolo’s Band on August thirty at seven P M. Apolo’s Band brings you a night full of Latin Music and entertainment.
