Uncle Sam back to Danbury!
Uncle Sam once stood at the historic Danbury Fair and it is time that he returns to his rightful place in Danbury.
During the final decade of the Great Danbury State Fair, the Uncle Sam statue welcomed all fairgoers. This statue at 38ft tall is likely the tallest Uncle Sam statue in the world! Now, the City Of Danbury on behalf of Mayor Mark Boughton has a GoFundMe plan to purchase the statue, restore Uncle Sam, and bring him home.
