More than simply this flash briefing, the newsletter brings more information about many of the events you need to know in Danbury. The newsletter is free and is sent each Wednesday to your email inbox. We never share your information and you can unsubscribe any time.

Commissioner Alma Faham is featured at an Art Exhibit in Wilton 11/4

 Cultural Commissioner Alma Faham is featured at an Art Exhibit in Wilton. 

The show, “Resilience, Reflection and Revelations” is an Exhibit which Showcases eight Area Women Artists’ Diverse Works. 

 
The Exhibition at the Wilton Public Library runs through November seventh. A majority of the works will be available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the library.

Tastes of Danbury Returns for a Culinary Extravaganza Through Oct 31

After the overwhelming success of last spring’s event, City Center Danbury is thrilled to announce the return of Tastes of Danbury, where your taste buds will embark on a flavorful journey through some of Danbury’s most renowned eateries. Back by popular demand, this culinary celebration is more than just an event—it's an experience for food lovers of all kinds! 

For just $30, indulge in a diverse array of delicious meals from four distinct establishments located throughout our vibrant downtown area! From authentic Peruvian delicacies to Ecuadorian flavors, Brazilian barbecue to gourmet sandwiches, Tastes of Danbury offers something for every palate. This is your chance to indulge in the best Danbury has to offer while celebrating our vibrant local food scene.  

City Center Danbury extends sincere gratitude to the proud sponsor, OMAHA BEEF, for supporting this tasteful event.

Stanley L. Richter Association for the Arts Autumn Concert Series Sundays through October 28

The Richter Association for the Arts Fall concert series continues each Sunday through October 27th. The final concert of the season will be the celebration of the sesquicentennial birthday of Charles Ives, “Americana: A Concert of American Music”, celebrating Danbury’s native son, Charles Ives on Sunday, October 27th.

All Richter Arts events are free and no tickets or reservations are required for attendance. All shows start at 3:00pm at the newly renovated Art Center 100 Aunt Hack Road. Please consider making a modest donation to help pay for the performances. Enjoy the shows and get a look at the enhanced facilities. A limited number of handicapped parking spaces are available at the Art Center but parking remains at the golf course. 

Most performances are scheduled OUTDOORS so please bring seating.

Stanley L. Richter Association for the Arts Autumn Concert Series Sundays through October 28

The Richter Association for the Arts Fall concert series continues each Sunday through October 27th. The next concert will be the Blue River Jazz Band on October 13th; followed by Billy Michael on October 20th; and “Americana: A Concert of American Music”, celebrating Danbury’s native son, Charles Ives on Sunday, October 27th.
