Danbury Music Centre's Madrigal Singers auditions will be held January 4, 2018 from 7:00-8:30 pm at the Marian Anderson Recital Hall, 256 Main Street Danbury, Connecticut. There are openings for sopranos, altos, tenors, and basses. Please call the DMC for an appointment 203-748-1716.
Auditions are open to the public as well as to DMC members, ages 16 and up.
Singers are asked to bring a solo piece of music sung in your range (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, or Bass Baritone) that shows your vocal range, voice quality and expression and be prepared to sing 16 measures (no pop music please!) For example, you could sing the Star Spangled Banner, a folk song, or a piece performed with the Community Chorus.
