Handel on the Holiday.
The next Holiday tradition from the Danbury Music Centre is the performance of Handel's Messiah. Again this year the performance is at the First Congregational Church, at 164 Deer Hill Avenue here in Danbury. Handel's Messiah on December 17 is performed by The Danbury Concert Chorus and members of the Danbury Symphony Orchestra with special Guest Conductor, James Blachly. Admission is free thanks to Preferred Utilities Manufacturing Corporation. Your Donations will be gratefully accepted at the door.

The Fiftieth anniversary, final two performances, of the Danbury Music Centre's production of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker is today, Sunday. This evening's performance was added due to Saturday's snow. This engaging entertainment, features over 200 dancers, accompanied by the Danbury Symphony Orchestra, who play Tchaikovsky’s score, live! This is a one weekend opportunity. Some tickets will be available at the high school auditorium door, but be sure not to miss this show by reserving your tickets now.
