EVERYTHING, at The Palace Danbury, 165 Main St, Danbury.
Sponsored by SKI HAUS this is a MUST ATTEND event for skiers
and soon-to-be skiers. Thousands of dollars worth of prizes and lift tickets

From 2:00pm to 5:00pm Evita by the Western Connecticut State University Department of Theatre Arts, on the Main Stage 43 Lake Avenue Extension Danbury.
Evita is Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s hit musical
based on the life of Evita Duarte, an actress who became the wife of
Argentinian President Juan Peron. Don’t miss the incredible Main Stage
performance, directed by Tim Howard, choreographed by Mary Ann Lamb, and
musical director, Frank Schiro.From 8:00pm to 10:00pm Speak For Yourself, Open Mic Poetry at the Danbury Music Centre, Marian Anderson Recital Hall, 256 Main Street, Danbury.
Express yourself as well as your thoughts. No judging, not a contest or slam, just people coming together to enjoy the art of words. There will be light refreshments served.
From 8:00pm to 9:30pm Louis Prima Junior and the Witnesses
at The Palace Danbury, 165 Main Street, Danbury.
Get ready to Jump, Jive, an’ Wail because Louis Prima Junior
and The Witnesses are bringing swing to Danbury!
Louis Prima Junior, picks up the torch lit by his iconic
father, renowned singer and bandleader, Louis Prima. Make no mistake, this is
no tribute act. Prima Junior and his powerhouse 8-piece band, the Witnesses,
are reviving the boogie woogie spirit for a modern generation, seamlessly
blending big band jazz, swing, and rock and roll.

From 7:00pm to 8:30pm Broadway's Next Hit Musical at The Palace Theatre, 165 Main Street, Danbury.
This is the ONLY Connecticut performance of this national tour.
Broadway's Next Hit Musical is the only unscripted theatrical awards show. Master improvisers make up, hit song suggested from the audience and create a spontaneous evening of music, humor, and laughter. The cast turns them into a full-blown improvised musical complete with memorable characters, witty dialogue, and plot twists galore.
From 7:30pm to 8:30pm Danbury Concert Chorus, part of The
Danbury Music Centre, performs, Love to the Soul, At the First Congregational
Church, 164 Deer Hill Avenue, Danbury.
Scott Toperzer is a conductor and singer living
in Ridgefield, Connecticut, who served as the Music Director at St. Stephen’s
Church since 2010 and has conducted numerous choral ensembles. His singing
career included operatic and concert, and studied with the world renowned
French baritone, Gérard Souzay at the Institute Musicale de Villecroze, in
Villecroze, France.

Sunday Nov. 12.
From 10:30am to 2:30 pm Military personnel ride the
“Railyard Local” for free at the Danbury Railroad Museum, 120 White St,
Danbury. To Honor all past and present military personnel and their families
take a short train ride in a 1920's passenger coach or a vintage caboose pulled
by a vintage, first-generation diesel-electric locomotive. An appropriate ID is
required. The museum is open from 10am to 4pm with train rides every hour from
10:30 to 2:30.

Danbury.From 7:00pm to 8:30pm The Prima Trio sponsored by the Danbury Concert Association at theVisual and Performing Arts Center, Studio Theatre, 43 Lake Avenue Extension Danbury.
Clarinetist Boris Allakhverdyan, violinist Gulia Gurevich, and pianist Anastasia Dedik have impressed audiences everywhere with their superb artistry, impeccable technique, and personable delivery. We look forward to welcoming them back to the Vee-PAC.
